LEARN FROM
THE PAST

CREATE FOR
THE FUTURE

One thing I’ve learned is, culture counts. It starts at the top. I believe that sincerely and effectively cultivating consensus is equally smart and soulful, and that by working together we can improve outcomes and strengthen our community.

HERE'S A GOOD QUESTION...
WHAT DO LAGUNA RESIDENTS WANT?

In the projects I've helped develop in Laguna Beach, and in my volunteer roles, I’ve found collaboration more constructive than conflict. And I’ve found more success by respecting rules and opinions, working with my neighbors, embracing the public process, and most of all, by listening.

ENDORSEMENTS

Morris Skenderian,

Architect and 53-year resident

I have been a resident and practicing architect in the City of
Laguna Beach for the last 53 years. In this beautiful and decent
community, I have built a business, raised a family, volunteered
for many causes, and made countless friends.

George Weiss,

Laguna Beach City Council

I have met many people since moving to Laguna in 2005. Some have what it takes to serve on City Council, but few match the combination of skills, experience and character possessed by Mark Orgill. His knowledge of land use is as deep as anyone working for the city.

Association of Orange County Deputy Sheriffs

I am pleased to inform you that your candidacy for Laguna Beach City Council has been endorsed by the Political Action Committee of the Association of Orange County Deputy Sheriffs. We appreciate your support of law our enforcement partners in Laguna Beach and your efforts to make our community safer.

INDEPENDENT SPIRIT
MAKES FOR AN INDEPENDENT TOWN

"Mark recognizes that getting things accomplished, means getting people involved with the process, and then building coalitions around solutions that can inspire even those who are ideological opposites."

ANN LARSON

Former Planning Manager/Asst. Director of Community Dev. City of Laguna Beach

ENDORSEMENTS

Laguna Beach

Police Employee’s Association

Laguna Beach can be more than just another coastal Southern California community with inspiring views. We can be a community that prioritizes a commitment to improving the lives of our city employees.
